I just look for the way they hold their cards. If they are really holding them close, they may have something.

I think everything is in the eyes, that is the window to your soul. You have to be able to know the signs, people can't help but to show some type of emotion when they have something good.

When you notice that a person is changing or acting fickle, trying to throw you off your game. Thats one of the ways to know.

Alos if they start humming, or whistling, that might be a give away too.

Sometimes not all the time, sometimes they use it to throw you off to. You have to be careful when some people do that. You have to learn how to ignore a bluff.

I know the scratching of the head is something that is a give away as well. I have caught many of people doing that at the table and in the end they ended up having a royal flush or something of that manner.

I think sacback has a point, that some people may act like they are trying to give something away just to mess with you.
