After breezing through the first two stages of qualifying, Dimitrov once again looks good and for this veteran, it seems like all he needed was a taste of victory. We all know how good the Bulgarian can be, and not having to play in the final stage of qualifying is a big advantage for this veteran who didn't have to waste much energy. The Australian also hasn't been in great form this season, and when you add in Popyrin's lack of experience and mastery, it seems like a very bright outlook for the Bulgarian. These tennis players are familiar with each other, so Dimitrov, who has more experience and is higher ranked on paper, should prove it. I predict a dry or two set advantage for the Bulgarian.
