With Kurtinaitis as the coach, the playing style of the Lithuanian national team is very clear and has not changed over the years. It is fast, free-flowing basketball and with the team assembled for this summer, playing this style should be even easier. There is a lot of talent and most players enjoy or are used to playing this kind of basketball. The defense may have changed slightly, but the offensive potential with this current team is very high. Because there hasn't been much preparation time for the selection process, there should not be any significant reserves for the official games. The level difference is not small, and the motivation and support are on Lithuania's side. Ukraine may have a strong defense in the game, but I do not see a chance for them to compete with our fast-paced basketball.
