The coefficient should strongly drop after Pistons G7 game with Cavaliers which I think they will win, Cavs reduced the chance to close the series in Game 6 at home. So the Eastern Conference Finals will be between Pistons and Knicks, looking at the way Knicks are playing now, they look amazing, but partly because their opponents were very weak, Hawks are just starting their process, they have a good team, showed horns at the beginning of the series, but then experience and a better team took over. With Sixers, it wasn't even a struggle, Sixers' NBA final was against Celtics in G7 after which Sixers seem to have reached their season's peak. Pistons are a completely different beast, they have won two series in a row to reach G7, against Magic and Cavs, but looking at them, it seems like the whole team is not playing at 100% (I am mainly talking about Jalen Duren). Pistons won all 3 games against each other this season, with points differences of 31, 38, and 15, which shows that Pistons are a nightmare for the Knicks. It's worth keeping an eye on OG's news, who missed 3 games against Sixers due to injury, it seems like he will be able to play, but his injury is similar to Doncic's, so the question is how healthy he is and if he will be able to play the whole series. Another very important thing is that Pistons have a home advantage. And a big part of fans are waiting for the matchup between Brunson and Chad, the latter got injured towards the end of the season and took some time to come back, but now he seems close to 100%. Clearly, the coefficient for Pistons is too high. It's worth mentioning that Pistons have beaten Knicks all 3 times this season without their main center, Jalen Duren (injured in the first two games, and suspended in the third).
