The second game between Colorado and Arizona lasted for 2 days and started out with poor pitching from both teams – Colorado with Gordon and Arizona with Pfaadt. Interestingly, these two pitchers faced each other just 7 days prior at the Arizona stadium where the home team won 13-6, but the performances of both pitchers were lackluster... Colorado's Gordon managed to hold on for 4 and a half innings, during which he allowed 12 hits and 10 runs... Arizona's Pfaadt fell behind in the 5 innings, giving up 11 hits and 3 runs... Yesterday, these teams started their series with Arizona leading 2-8, which doesn't tell the whole story as by the 5th inning, the score was already 1-7. The last 4 innings were dominated by both teams, but it won't be the same this time as neither team has pitchers of that caliber who could last for another 4 innings in such a tight game.
