Rytas plays at a fast pace and a different style of basketball that is not favorable for them. Because of their strong offense and quick play, their defense often suffers and if last season Rytas had many scoring opportunities and it was easier for them to collect points through individual actions, this season it seems that Zalgiris has taken note and has strengthened their team with talented individual players. Against Barca they achieved a narrow victory, but only by 8 points, however the individual actions of Brazdeikis and Francisco allow the team to become very dangerous in offense. Looking at the overall total, Zalgiris is strong this year and I believe they can give Rytas defenders a run for their money.
