What a turnaround in Roma tonight. Italians dominated the 1st half and had enough opportunities to score 2 or 3 goals especially with oppourtunity Under had..

But suddenly in the 2nd half Real Madrid striked like a thunder from the sky and dominated the rest of the game. Great win for the Real, interesting what Solari said during the half that this turnaround did happened.

UEFA CL: TOTTENHAM VS INTER MILAN MATCH BETTING PREVIEW

embeded-image

This Wednesday night we have some crucial games and this is one of them as Tottenham host Inter! This game is a must win for Spurs as they are 3 pts behind and have already lost the first fixture to Inter meaning that anything other than a win and Tottenham would officially have no chance to advance to the next round. Meanwhile, Inter only need a draw here to advance. Both teams are currently on a high as Spurs went and beat down their rivals Chelsea 3-1 during the weekend while Inter bounced back with a 3-0 win in the Serie A themselves. The first game slipped out of Tottenham’s hands and the question here is, can they get the job done or will their hearts get broken by an Italian side again?

UEFA CL: PSG VS LIVERPOOL MATCH BETTING PREVIEW

embeded-image

Two clubs that were tipped as massive favourites to advance are now basically fighting to survive and to advance in the tournament. Yes, PSG or Liverpool could potentially get knocked out from the group stages. Right now Liverpool are 2nd tied with Napoli at 6 pts but have a negative H2H record having lost to them meanwhile PSG are third with 5 pts and are on the verge of elimination and a loss here would in fact eliminate them assuming Napoli Win their game which is nearly a certainty. Liverpool have complicated things for themselves having lost to Crvena Zvezda but bounced back with a couple of wins in the league meanwhile PSG are coming off back to back draws with Napoli and despite their domestic dominance, in Europe they’ve won just 1 game from 4 and here it really is a must WIN for them. Liverpool would take a draw but we know for sure that they’ll aim to secure qualification here with a win and that should lead us to a very entertaining game between two great but desperate teams. Liverpool won the reverse fixture 3-2 at Anfield, but can they repeat that or will PSG be too much in France?

PSG normally up 4-0 at this time, but it’s different in these CL games.. wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool equalised late

VAR to be used in UEFA Champions League knockout phase

embeded-image

The UEFA Executive Committee has decided today in Dublin to use Video Assistant Referees (VAR) in the UEFA Champions League as from the Round of 16 in February 2019.

The UEFA Executive Committee today met in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, and decided to use Video Assistant Referees (VAR) in the UEFA Champions League as from the Round of 16 in February 2019 following successful technological testing and the training of referees over the last few months.

In addition, the committee decided to also use VAR at the UEFA Europa League Final 2019, in the UEFA Nations Leagues Finals 2019 and in the final tournament of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2019.

As already decided during the September meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee, VAR will then also be used in the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League, as of the play-off stage of the competition, and at the 2019 UEFA Super Cup. UEFA still plans to subsequently extend the use of VAR at the final tournament of UEFA EURO 2020, in the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League (group-stage onwards), and in the 2021 UEFA Nations League Finals.

UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin, said:

"We are ready to use VAR earlier than initially planned and we are convinced that it will be beneficial for our competitions as it will provide valuable help to match officials and will allow to reduce incorrect decisions."

Modric deserves the balon dor. BUT Messi being 5th in the balon dor is a joke how are there 4 better players in 2018 than Messi when he led Barca to a double

This is bullshit whatever the awards is Lionel Messi always should be on the top 3. It seems just unfair.

UEFA CL: BARCELONA V TOTTENHAM MATCH BETTING PREVIEW

embeded-image

The already qualified Barcelona host a desperate for a win Spurs squad this Tuesday night in the Champions League! Barca have already clinched the 1st spot in the Champions League and no matter what result they’re safe here. However, Tottenham need to either match or out do Inter’s result and with Inter hosting PSV in the other fixture, it is more than likely that Spurs will have to win this game at Nou Camp. As tough as the task may look for Tottenham, they simply have to believe and with the recent run of good form this task is definitely doable and maybe just maybe they will have a famous night at the Nou Camp.

UEFA CL: LIVERPOOL V NAPOLI MATCH BETTING PREVIEW

embeded-image

The final match day of the Champions League football is here and what a huge game we have between two top football clubs of Europe. It’s a game that basically decides who goes through and who goes down to Europa League! Currently, Napoli are 1st and Liverpool are 3rd however Liverpool can overcome the Italian side with a win here. With PSG likely to win in Serbia, this game becomes do or die assuming nothing crazy happens in the other game. For Liverpool to finish above Napoli they either have to win 1-0 or defeat Napoli by 2+ goals if they were to concede so if Napoli score 1, Liverpool would need to win 3-1 and so on. Napoli outplayed Liverpool in the first fixture and won 1-0, however Liverpool have picked up some great form in recent weeks and we’ve seen them deliver in Europe many times before in these situations. Will it be another special European night at Anfield, or will Napoli kill off the European dream for Liverpool?
