Still nothing in the buy-in front yet?

Fulltilt is the easiest to set up a private tourney in. Any one of us can set a private tourney up and have a $3.00 KO or what ever. We can even set up the tourney to pay top 20% so more folks can finish ITM. It's going to have a password so you can either post it here for the world to see or announce it a week or so early and have the password given out by PM only. Getting about 20 participants to agree on when and where will be harder than setting up the tourney. You can make it a regular event if it gains popularity.

now lets get serious & be serious about this

well, it ain't gonna happen overnight
you may change your mind, when it does

I had started a thread in the doyles room thread

I see a lot of interest at full tilt but for a small buyin they usually have a high rake, i forget what their minimum rake is but its higher than most sites. also i don't think they offer added money, i think we would get more bang out of our buck using one of our forums other sites. doyles and carbon would probably be better for all of us.

Bodog is my favourite. I hope it is on there. Not really bothered what time but preferably 8-10 pm UK time.

Since we switched to no password needed freerolls.....Is it possible to go back to passwords for the buy in tourney?

Let's have a high roller one at Bodog on a Wednesday nite. Lets say a $500 buy-in with a 1000 max players.

wanted to bring this back up front

with a different direction

MERGE
(take your pick, doesnt matter)

we can set up, a Private>Custom game (in Sit-n-go)
alot of different games to choose from
E.G. , 5 card stud, Badugi, 5 card draw,.. the list goes on

anyway, for example
I could set one up on Reefer,
you can join it from almost any of the merge network clients
( Carbon, Felt, Walker etc _) just log in & put in the PW
& your buyin, once it is filled, IT'S GAMETIME

I thought , maybe, this'll take off again

I have set up a couple 5 card stud games recently
I didn't cash, but it was fun for something different
I think the minimum was $3, coulda been $2
but if you are in for something different
maybe we could set something up
around the starttime of an IX game somewhere

Here is an example

I set up a 5 card stud, pot limt, $3 buy in, 4 ppl, SnG

set it up on Carbon
see it on Reefer

I'll leave it there till (whenever)
but check out your favorite Merge site to see if it is there

I vote for cake, $1-3 and in the evenings or feltstars for $1-2 and maybe bounty tournies if they are more than a buckk. PS has new 90 man KO sngs and they are $1.45-$1.00 to prize pool and $0.25 to bounty pool, I thinkk this would bring more players too the games with the opportunity to get more money for KO's. Just an idea as I read the game may takke time to get together.
