This shapes up to be a very interesting match up and we all expect Wolves to put United to a serious test at Old Trafford!

Team News

Manchester United: Matic and Rashford are both out due to suspensions. Furthermore, Herrera, Rojo and Jones are all still out with injuries. However, Valencia and Lingard are both back in contention to start after not travelling to Switzerland to play Young Boys and are likely to replace Rashford and Dalot who started in their positions during the midweek. Fellaini is likely to replace suspended Matic. Elsewhere, Mourinho will have some selection headaches as Martial scored a goal midweek and is looking to keep his starting job either over Alexis or Lingard. Luke Shaw has returned but will also have to fight for a starting job with Ashley Young. Jose will have a few selection headaches coming into this fixture.

Wolves: Nothing new to report from the Wolves camp. Ivan Cavaleiro is still injured. Wolves coach Nuno has fielded the same side for 5 straight games now and with them picking up some good form recently there’s no reason why he should change the line-up. It’s a very strong Wolves side, on paper definitely their best ever in the Premier League era and they will look to snap their losing run at Old Trafford. Wolves have a legit shot at picking up points here. Moutinho and Neves midfield partnership has been top notch so far and Jimenez up front has been providing goals recently. We could definitely see Wolves try to have a go and attack United in this match up. 3-4-2-1 is the common formation used by Nuno this season.

Betting Tips and Predictions

United are obviously the favourites here. But 1.60 odds don’t hold much value simply because Wolves could very well come here and snatch a point. Matic is a huge absentee for United, that midfield all of a sudden is going to be a little suspect and open again. Defensively, United are still hard to trust, sure they’re carrying momentum right now but so are Wolves. Plus, United played in Switzerland just this Wednesday on artificial pitch which is tougher to recover from and that could have some effects on them. This is a fantastic chance for Wolves to pick up points and we wouldn’t bet against that. We’re looking at a BTTS at 1.85 and Wolves +0.5, +1.0 AH at 2.10. If they lose by 1 goal half the money is returned, if they don’t lose it’s a win. We see this game being a potential 1-1 draw. United will feel fatigue effects from the midweek game and Wolves will take advantage of it. Pogba to score anytime is a good goal scorer bet, he’s on fire right now plus he takes United’s penalties which there’s always a chance of occurring in games.
