Jokic will play here for close to 48 minutes, Denver cannot afford to bench Jokic because the team completely falls apart without him. Even if he is not scoring points, his presence on the court and his passing abilities give the team a huge advantage in offense against anyone. Because Jokic is such a rare player who rarely gets into foul trouble, he should spend very little time on the bench. Personally for Jokic, this will be a key battle against another MVP candidate. OKC plays a fast-paced game with a lot of points, and in these conditions, Jokic feels like a fish in water, especially with high-flyers and fast players like Gordon, Westbrook, and company who create ideal conditions for him to record another triple-double. It is not uncommon for the Nuggets to lose by large margins, yet Nikola still manages to get a triple-double because he is simply better than everyone else.
