2014-15 Cavs (Bron's 1st year back)

Start 5-7
Improve to 17-10
Fall again to 19-20 cos Bron got hurt

Lakers in Bron's 1st year

Start 2-5
Improve to 18-11
Currently 21-19 because Bron got hurt

Very similar starts, Cavs finished 53-29, I don't see LA doing that, but I think when LeBron is back we'll be fine for sure. Expect 46-48 wins and Bron to go off when he returns and for us to make the Playoffs definitely

Lack of scoring was always going to get them in today's NBA. Just can't win consistently without scoring nowadays in the league which is a little disappointing because I like to see defensive basketball succeed instead of this new jacking up 3s NBA and giving fouls for any little contact

Mike D'Antoni said it will be around 2-3 weeks before Chris Paul (hamstring) will be cleared to return.

D'Antoni said on Monday that Paul likely won't be able to get back to the court until the end of January, but now we have a more official timetable. D'Antoni also cautioned that the Rockets will be "very careful" in bringing CP3 back, so he'll likely be dealing with a minutes cap upon his return.

Interesting news, Harden will probably solidify his MVP status this season come end of this month then

I noticed that too, Wall being gone has opened up more opportunities for other. We saw this last season aswell which is very interesting to see cause Wall is a star and Washington seemingly being better without him is alarming

This is the time to win the title. Not sure if they will have the better opportunity in the future. Warriors struggling, Rockets are without deep bench, Nuggets still in progress and need to improve on their young players and the last contender IMO Raptors but they need to stay healthy.

Kyle Kuzma absolutely went off last night WOW! 41 pts in 3 quarters, would've probably got 50 if not for a blowout. To me he's clearly been the best of the young core this season and much improved. Lakers picked up a great win too. Michael Beasley looks like really good by the way scoring off that bench. Hopefully LeBron returns against Utah and we extend the gap with them now. Got some momentum going for sure

I think they'll be around for long, Giannis Brogdon and Middleton are all young so there's definitely time for them to deliver it if not this year. Giannis hasn't even hit his prime tbh which is wild
