Olympiacos v Anadolu Efes

Looks worth trying Olympiacos handicap after though loss against Zalgiris. The home adventage for any of the Greece teams was always a big benefit. I really respect David Blatt and his playing style and if the last seasons Olympiacos were a slow team with every posession attack now after the Blatt they are playing much faster with a wide open spaces. I talked a lot about Efes in my previous topics and games with them and of course they are more talented as a team this season. Signed Micic who playing his one of the best season so far but I'm not sure they they grew to that level where they can play stable basketball. They already had game this week in Turkish league on the road. This game for them could be very hard.and they should already prepared for the next week where the 2 matches will be played. I think small details for example more solid defense from Olympiacos should be enough to grab a solid victory.

So Olympiacos -5.5 @1.9 Bet365 is my call

After his interview pre game and after the game looks like that he likes being here. He said that he chose Europe and Euroleague over the China and bigger money. If he keeps playing like this he could earn a big contract here in Europe or at least make a comeback to NBA. One thing that I'm sure about that he will learn more about basketball and will improve as a player and how to read the game in different situations. Europe gives a deep experience about tactics and how basketball could be played when you are not amoung the best players but you using your basketball IQ in the right way. Happy to see new well known faces in Euroleague. Big future for this league.

Gran Canaria - Baskonia

Gran Canaria playing the fastest basketball in the Euroleague and making the higher numbers in posessions manwhile Baskonia on the road is 4th fastest team considering the numbers of the posessions. Both teams played in the weekend and both teams saved some players before tonight's game. Baskonia starts to improve their game under the new coach and their opponents also on the form right now. These teams met this year and the Baskonia won 91-76. I expect similar typical spanish basketball with a high tempo and a lot of fouls considering the approach from referee on the Euroleague games. These teams met
