British poker pro Alex “Kanu7” Millar was down $720,000 on 2016 going into this week, but he was able to take a chunk out of those losses by winning $160,000 over the past seven days, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB. His profits were the most in the online poker world during the stretch.

Despite the losses this year, Millar is still a $2.7 million winner on PokerStars lifetime.

Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky rebounded this week, winning $70,000 after losing $170,000 the week prior. Sulsky, a $4.2 million winner lifetime on PokerStars, is one of the most successful online players in history.

“TheFish77” ($134,000), Mike “gordo16” Gorodinsky ($55,000), Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro ($45,000), Alex “BiatchPeople” Luneau ($38,000), Jason Mercier ($34,000) and Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies ($29,000) were other big winners on the week as well.

On the other end of the spectrum, “I_Mr_U_Bean” (-$177,000), “wilhasha” (-$152,000), and Dan “w00ki3z” Cates (-$152,000) were the week’s biggest losers.

Cates is down $217,000 on 2016 so far, but he is still a $1 million lifetime winner on PokerStars. His profits over on sister site Full Tilt, which doesn’t see high-stakes action anymore, stand at $10.2 million. He did lose more than $300,000 in 2015. The Maryland native’s last losing year was in 2009, when he lost $450,000. Cates trails only Patrik Antonius on the all-time leader board.
