British poker pro Alex “Kanu7” Millar lost roughly $430,000 over the past seven days on PokerStars, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB. It was the second week of the year in which he lost a six-figure sum.

He’s down more than $500,000 on 2016 so far, after logging nearly 11,700 hands through Friday. Millar is still a $2.7 million winner on PokerStars lifetime. Late last year, Millar said he wouldn’t continue endorsing the brand after controversial changes to the VIP rewards program.

Accounts that won the most on the week were Educa-p0ker ($435,000), WRUUUUM ($135,000), Cobus83 ($132,183), d2themfi ($118,158) and wilhasha ($94,301).

Well-known poker pros who had small wins on the week include Mikael “ChaoRen160” Thuritz, Mike “gordo16” Gorodinsky and Rafi “refaelamit” Amit.

Educa-p0ker was the big winner thanks to winning the week’s four largest hands. At $200-$400 no-limit hold’em, he or she won two pots worth $80,000 and two that were roughly $100,000.

On the flip side, Ronny “1-ronnyr3” Kaiser (-$314,000), TILTMENOT (-$202,000), donthnrmepls (-$88,000) and Ravenswood13 (-$73,000) dropped the most over the past seven days.

Alex “Kanu7” Millar is a 26 year old online NLHE specialist who has kept himself under the radar and has risen through the cash game ranks in just a few years to become one of the most feared players at the high stakes no-limit tables on Pokerstars. He is one of only a few top pros who has not transitioned to playing PLO, and will be challenging Isildur1 in the SuperStar Showdown this Sunday. They will be playing four tables of $100/$200 heads-up no-limit over 2,500 hands with each player risking $300,000 of their bankroll, just like the previous Showdown between Isildur and Isaac "Ike" Haxton.

Bad luck certainly. It’s really a big amount to lose…that too the second time.
