Trying to score 6 of the same jewels in bejeweled

Reply Subscribe
Been reading a little about bejeweled online and there are players asking what happens if you score 6 jewels of the same type.

From what I know this is not possible, so why do players ask about that ?

Is there a new version of bejeweled that I do not know of ?

Maybe im just outdated but - look here:

To make a 6 you need 3 on one side and 2 on the other, but as soon as you have 3 jewels in a row of the same type it gets credited and disappears.

So it just cant be done.

Correct me if im wrong

OK, you're wrong. In theory, you can get eight of the same jewels in a row -- but it isn't likely because all of the planets would have to be aligned exactly right.

Imagine these are the bottom two rows:

ABXCDXEF
XXYXXYXX

Now explode a hyper cube elsewhere, taking out all of the "Y" jewels.

Eight in a row.

I get your point but a little misunderstanding from me I guess. It all depends on how the jewels comes down, kinda like lotto.

What I meant was this isnt possible in the basic setup of bejeweled. But yes you are right.

Good tip for players looking for some more advanced possibilities.

Isn't that always the case?

The "basic setup"? There's nothing non-basic about this solution.

You can't get 6 in a row if the jewels already have come down and stopped. That's what I mean with basic setup. Atleast not with the bejeweled games I have played. It's a completely different scenario when the jewels are moving without your influence.

I have no idea what you mean. In the Bejeweled games that I have played, the jewels don't move unless I move them.

I just loved the idea that you could make some extra money by simply getting good at a game.

There is no money in skill games that's the problem.
