JO-Wilfried Tsonga - Andy Murray. Wimbledon. Quarter-finals

JO-Wilfried Tsonga - Andy Murray. Wimbledon. Quarter-finals

Finally we reached Wimbledon last rounds, when every single mistake can decide who will win a match In this round we have no weak players, so we can say everyone will go for title of Grass Slam Today we will have a good match between two superb grass courts specialist ,but at same time They have different style of play ofcourse. Its Andy Murray (Some people now say he is king of grass for the moment) And another one France player, who always every year is reaching last rounds of all grandslams and he is Jo Tsonga. So we can count on both players, they both good, have a lot of cons and pros to win and loose today. Bookie's are sugesting us to be ready for fast match and easy Andy's win, but i dont agree with that. Every year every match beetween these two players bookies was giving us a big overs, small game's + This year they kind of suggesting us bet differntly, but h2h shows us this today match aint going to be easy.

Lets start from both players statistics - lets compare serve.

Serve speed is pretty same of both players But we know Tsonga has more powerfull, stronger and more acurracy on his serve, so first serve in percent is bigger on Tsonga serve (More then 70%,Murray only make 60%), but of course they both making aces on first serve and both players win almost same amount of points on first serve, but Tsonga have much butter second serve Faster, different style of serve, so its harder for opponent to return, ofcorse statistic show us Tsonga win more points on second serve, murray not so much, because murray have strange second serve People say's Murray improved his serve, and yes i agree, but in this stage of tournament i dont see any improvements on second serve, first serve is very good, but second goes slow and in the center of box, so its much easier for Tsonga to return, and tsonga is very good with return, we know Isner was a hard guy,but after that Tsonga will be happy to see Andy serve is slower..Its also helps for Tsonga mind, as we remember match Isner Tsonga - Tsonga was not happy to see Isner serve so well, sometimes he got even frustrated of serve. So return percent is good for both players, we know Andy have best defence in ATP, so ofcourse return must be good too. Also all other statistics is almost same, winner, erros, netpoints.. But Andy only played weak opponents, and last match versus Kyrgios was to easy, Kyrgios only played on set with full power, so yes, statistics same but Murray had weaker opponents, we can say it doesnt show all things, but one player did something good for us Its Millman, he fought till end, and his agressyve play, made Murray to fight very hard,he made a lot of mistakes erros, he couldnt play good like with Kyrgios.

In the end

So its would be good for Tsonga play more agresive today, that would be new for Murray today, because he didnt have any good opponents and ofcorse he didnt strugle at all(almost) with them,so a little bit of agresive, stronger play with ball, faster stronger hits, can brake in first set Andy defence, and its all what we need one set, and it can be enough Tsonga had a lot of time and rest to be ready for this match, he is strong guy, have better mentallity then Kyrgios, so we can trust him, he will not loose like Kyrgios after one lost set. Tsonga allso have more experiences playing with elite top guys, more experience on grass, a lot of good things he have for today, so we can say he will fight till the end.
