Woods returns to the United Kingdom for the first time in two years, having missed the British Open last year at Royal Birkdale while recovering from knee surgery.

This year at Turnberry, Woods is the heavy favorite at +200 to win.

Can Padraig Harrington with his third Open title in a row, or can Sergio Garcia finally step up and grab his first major?

Both golfers are listed at +2500 to take the title this week.

Ross Fisher started well the July 19th day of the 2009 British Open at Turnberry as leaders begin to labor. We are likely to see the deservine winner of the 2009 British Open soon.

Not very fond of golf but I like to watch how incredibly skilled they are.

Tom Watson, the ultimate underdog, squandered a chance to become golf’s oldest major champion. The 59-year-old missed an 8-foot putt on the 72nd hole of the British Open, then lost a four-hole playoff to Stewart Cink.

Stewart Cink won his first major title, capping it with a birdie at No. 18, winning the playoff by six shots.
