People tend to forget AA is just one pair..here are a few examples of me cracking aces with weak hands that most would have folded preflop..just lucky on my part but it illustrates that pocket aces are just 1 pair..lol..

Best luck @ the tables

AA is a pair of course but it is the most powerful hand preflop. So you have to bet accordingly to that giving bad odds to a weaker hand, if a weaker hand calls and gets lucky with the community cards creating a better made hand bad luck. It means the a`ces were not played corectly. Just my opinion.

powerful hand? NO, it is the best STARTING hand,
it still has to rely on the remaining cards, to be powerful
it contains no power
because your opponent, does not see those cards

bet accordingly?
when you have pushed all-in preflop
you have not bet accordingly
you have not seen any other cards
you are only a favorite, and favorites dont always win

I am not trying to slam you
but, w/o more info, your statement is flawed
info-info-info
if you have the right info on your opponent
ANY TWO cards are the most powerful cards, you can have

I have more or less completely stopped shoving all in with AA - i used too when i started playing thinking sure you can't lose, but i've learnt since then!

I'm much more inclined to slow play them but have often slow played myself out of the hand.

the only good hand is the one that wins!:p

Like marco says, is best to easy play the aa, and most of the time you end up folding in front of a str8 or flush

I like to all-in with my AA preflop not as the best play but as the easiest, no fuss, no mess; no second guessing myself on the flop. Best preflop hand bet it all let opps decide what to do. I don't win the most $$$ but I don't think the AA get cracked as often.

It's great to be all in pre flop with Aces and get called. What more can you ask for? Remember that with pocket Aces, you usuall win a little or lose a lot. They don't stand up real well post flop if there is a lot of betting... So if you're all in preflop you will eliminate the marginal hands that might beat you and you will be a big favorite against a caller. :thumbsup
