Now that Representative Barney Frank has passed the first hurdle in freeing online poker players from the ill advised UIGEA, his Payments System Protection Act will move on to the full House for vote.

That vote could come as early as next week. If approved, the Bill would free online poker players and allow them to once again make their own choices as to what they do with their leisure time.

Barney Frank’s Payments Systems Protection Act was approved by a 30-9 vote, this will open the doors for future discussions in the House of Representatives......

If approved by the Senate, Americans will find one of the biggest online gambling restrictions removed.
