Sportingbet has signed a major sponsorship agreement with Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, becoming the official kit sponsor for the men's and women's teams until December 2027. The Entain-owned betting operator's logo will appear on the front of match kits, training gear, and travel items, including t-shirts, backpacks, and caps.
Gavin Isaac, CEO of Entain, described the partnership as a "significant milestone" in Entain’s history, highlighting its commitment to Brazil's growing regulated market. The collaboration aims to enhance fan engagement while supporting Palmeiras' historic success.
The deal also extends to naming rights for TV Palmeiras and Palmeiras Cast, as well as sponsorship presence in club media content. Sportingbet’s General Director for Latin America, Antonio Forjaz, expressed pride in associating with Palmeiras, calling it a club synonymous with victories and a passionate fanbase.
Palmeiras President Leila Pereira emphasized the alignment of both brands' values, stating, "We are very pleased with the arrival of Sportingbet and the beginning of this new era." The logo will debut during the men's Campeonato Paulista match on January 15 at Allianz Parque.
This partnership aligns with Sportingbet’s recent authorization from Brazil’s Ministry of Finance, reinforcing its foothold in the newly regulated betting market.
