Review Author Teniso TV

Match of the day - Biggest grass tournament, Grand Slam of Wimbledon has reached its highest point. There is no coming back, only one match left to play for men's single players. Doesn't matter what happend before final, how many tough matches you played, how many elite players you knocked out. All answers will be answered today, who will be the king of the grass this season. Let's talk about prizes, for reaching Wimbledon final you get 1,257,578 €, a lot yes? Don't even try to count how many tournaments you need to win to get this prize at challenger. Finalist also get's 1200 points, very solid numbers. What about winning it? Not only you get title and and get written in history, but you will win 2,515,156 € and 2000 ranking points its amazing. In today's final we will see two different players, a young again Roger Federer and Marin Cilic who reached his first Wimbledon final at 11th try.

Marin Cilic : 28 years old, 195cm and 79kg very solid numbers for this guy, to play very good tennis on grass. Why he is so successful on tennis ? Answer is simple, he is big, strong, but still very fast and have great intelligence of tennis, of course he is not no.1, but he is working to get there, always trying to do his best, its hard to get there because of great players like Andy Murray, Novak Djokovič of course his opponent in final Roger Federer. Grass statistics is very good for croatian 70/25, and its keep getting better, this year 12/2 only two looses, he fought in Queens final, sadly for him he lost in good fight, for today we can say he reached the final in wimbledon and its very good result.

Roger Federer – First thing to say, its different Roger than last years Roger. What different this year ? Roger won a grand slam title again, finally, but for today he can win one more grandslam in a year. A grand slam title he want so bad, his favourite grandslam on the grass. This year he is very well, not injured and didnt drop out of Wimbledon like last year in SF versus Raonic, this year he was very successful versus Raonic. Anyway with a little cold, but his wife cured that away easily. A new younger for us Roger is playing very well, he enjoys it much. Swiss player have all player need to be successful at grass court at this age. Strong first serve – 115 Mph, you can say its not enough in men tennis these day’s, but don’t forget how well Roger serves it, he knows every spot to hit and make it very hard for his opponent, and he make’s 10 aces per match average. Second serve is very slow sometimes is only 85mph, but its not problem, he even make’s ace with this serve speed, its because of spin and trajectory. Forehand, backhand is on fire like always it is biggest gun’s for Roger. Thing to say he missed clay season, so we should worry about his power level and how much energy he have. On His career Roger have 164/25 balanse on grass

Comparing players : Its kinda hard to compare different players, the serve is almost same dangerous, of course croatian serves with higher speed, but swiss is very dangerous on serve too, even on second serve. One comparable thing is bakchand : Cilic uses two handed backhand and its very simple backhand, not so dangerous on the grass like Rogers onehanded backhand which is very dangerous and have oppurtinity to use different trajectory on every hit. Both players are ready for the final its for sure, both will play with all power, no need to hold strenght for something else its the final so they will give everything they got. Maybe Roger will be more fresh in the match, he didnt drop any set yet in Wimbledon this year. We know Roger want to win it again, we know he did it before, but dont forget Marin he wants it too, it would be first his grandslam title here, so why not ?

What to expect ? Its really hard to say what to expect today.. Finals is always hard to guess, but Roger have more experience, he won it this year in AO, he won Wimbledon a lot of times before so he know how to do it for sure. Marin for sure didnt play here just to reach final, he knows how to win grandslam too, he did won Us open before, so why not this year on grass? He is very good here too.
