UEFA EL: Chelsea vs MOL Vidi Betting Tips

Chelsea are in action in Europa League this Thursday as they look to make it 2 wins out of 2 against the visitors from Hungary MOL Vidi. After beating PAOK away from home which is on paper the toughest fixture, Chelsea have pretty much already put themselves in a position where it’s near impossible for them not to qualify while MOL Vidi have already put themselves in an awful situation by losing to BATE Borisov at home. Chelsea are the massive favourites here and it’d be surprise if the result is anything less than a Chelsea dominant win.

Team News

Chelsea: Injury wise, there isn’t much new to report apart from that Christensen is ill and is doubtful. Pedro and Loftus-Cheek are both still in doubt despite being very close to returning. Eden Hazard is expected to sit out this match like he did in Greece against PAOK. We can expect some youngsters to be used this time for sure by Sarri with the likes of Hudson-Odoi and Ampadu potentially getting to start. We will probably see the likes of Moses, Zappacosta, Barkley, Fabregas all start and Morata is expected to lead the line as he looks to end his goal drought with this game being a very good opportunity to do so. It’s more than likely that most first 11 players will be either on the bench or will sit out completely as this game is more than winnable with a backup side that Chelsea have.

MOL Vidi: Nothing to report.

Betting Tips and Predictions

Well this is clearly going to be a dominant Chelsea win bar anything silly happening like an early red card or lack of effort. Even with a backup side we should expect Chelsea to run riot here, the likes of Fabregas, Barkley, Hudson-Odoi will provide a ton of creativity and we simply see these players as being too talented for the Hungarian MOL Vidi side to deal with. Plus Morata has to bag a couple of goals for sure here. Chelsea -2.5 at 1.77 should come through comfortably as we expect Chelsea to win this match 4-0/5-0. Chelsea’s backline has been solid recently and they should be able to keep another clean sheet in Europa League. They’ll dominate most of the ball so it’s very unlikely that MOL Vidi will even create any chances. If Chelsea could completely shut out PAOK away from home then for sure they will do the same here. Chelsea to win both halves at 1.75 is our other pick for this match.
