EPL: Wolves - Tottenham Betting Tips

A late Saturday evening treat. Wolves will host Tottenham. Wolves have lived up to the hype in the Premier League having already caused problems for some of the top boys in the league and in general playing well. Now recently, Wolves did dip in form losing back to back games but that’s just a little blip if anything and they will bounce back soon and it could be in this game against Tottenham who have so far had an up and down season sitting 5th in the league even despite winning 7 of their 10 games. Spurs have been a very good away side this season and they’ll hope to bring another 3 points against a tough opposition. This should be an interesting, intense game of football.

Key Facts

Wolves have had more under 2.5 goals games in the league than any other side with 9 unders in 10 games, in fact they’ve had 9 straight unders. If you include cups it’s 11 straight unders.

On average there’s just 1.8 goals scored in games that Wolves are involved in.

Wolves have played two big 6 sides this season and managed to pick up draws in both games (Manchester City and Manchester United)

Wolves have got the 5th best defensive record with 9 goals conceded in the league.

Tottenham have got the best away record in the league with 5 wins from 6 (15 pts from 18)

On average there are 2.4 goals scored in Tottenham’s games. 6 overs 4 unders.

Harry Kane is Tottenham’s top scorer with 5 league goals.

Tottenham have the 4th best defensive record in the league with 8 goals conceded.

Team News

Wolves: Wolves are going to be without an attacking player Diogo Jota which is the only absentee that they have coming into this game. We could see Cavaleiro make his first start of the season if Nuno chooses to. Elsewhere expect no changes from the previous game.

Tottenham Hotspur: Spurs will be missing Eric Dier, Jan Vertonghen, Victor Wanyama and Danny Rose this weekend. We can expect Sanchez and Alderweireld to slot at CB again with Davies at LB with Rose being absent. Eriksen and Alli both started midweek against West Ham and will hope to keep the starting place despite Dembele Lamela and Moura all looking to return into the starting lineup themselves meaning that competition for places is serious right now. Kane will come back in for Llorente who got on the scoresheet midweek.

Betting Tips and Predictions

We can expect a toughly contested game here at Mollineux. Wolves have been extremely tough this season, just gotta look at how they fought against both Manchester clubs and this should be no different. Spurs haven’t played their best this season so far so we can definitely see them dropping points here. A draw seems like a very likely result here which is tipped at 3.30. In this game we can expect an under 2.5 goals priced at 1.85. Both of these teams are top 5 in defence in the league which is why it seems more likely for this to be an under than an over. Our prediction for the game is a 1-1 draw.
