EPL: Tottenham - Manchester City Betting Tips

This Monday night we have two of the big 6 sides meeting up as Tottenham host Manchester City. Tottenham have been going under the radar this season having won 7 of 9 league games and they could go above the champions with a win here. However it looks like a daunting task for Spurs as City have hit peak form and have been scoring goals and dominating teams for fun recently. A win for City would put then back up to top of the league here.

Team News

Tottenham Hotspur: Spurs will still be without Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose, however Dele Alli has returned to contention to play here. We shouldn’t expect Alli to start here despite being back considering that he’s missed time and Pochettino could decide to not rush him. We shouldn’t see many changes from the team that faced PSV bar possibly Lamela returning into the starting lineup.

Manchester City: Pep could be without Delph, Danilo and Gundogan who are all injury doubts but despite that its highly unlikely that they’d start or feature anyway. Furthermore back up keeper Bravo is still out. During midweek we saw rotation from Pep and despite that City won comfortably against Shakhtar however we can expect 1st team regulars back witb the likes of Aguero, D.Silva, Walker and possibly Kompany back in the starting lineuo for this game. Kevin de Bruyne made his first start this season against Shakhtar but it’s questionable whether he’ll start again considering that he missed 2 months before that.

Betting Tips and Predictions

Well this shapes up to be a very interesting and many will hope an entertaining game. We’ve got two attacking minded big 6 sides and that should give us goals of course. In this match you could probably take a 3.5 over and have good chances, if not then a safer 3.0 goals over. These teams in recent meetings have been able to put on goal fests and it should be no different here. Spurs have conceded quite a lot of goals when facing big teams this season bar Man Utd and now they have to come up against arguably the best attack in the world not just the country. Spurs themselves should be able to bag a goal. It’s very rare that they don’t, in fact this season they’ve scored in every game and despite city’s solid defensive record, we do believe that Spurs are good enough to break them down at any point. We expect City to win this match but 1.70 Odds don’t hold much value considering they’re playing a tough opponent. Prediction is 1-3 City, they’re simply better.
