EPL: Manchester City vs Bournemouth Match Betting Preview

Manchester City will look to return to winning ways after being held to a 2-2 draw midweek against Lyon in the Champions League as they host Bournemouth. City have been dominant in the league again this season and are tipped as huge favourites unsurprisingly while Bournemouth have been one of the bigger surprises, but they have dipped in form recently failing to win a game in a month. Many see this as a dominant win for the champions. Whether that’ll happen we’ll have to wait and see!

Betting Tips and Predictions

Looking at current forms, trends this looks like a wipeout win for Manchester City. City -2.5 at 1.82 is a good pick up for this game as they clearly tend to destroy Bournemouth at Etihad consistently and after drawing midweek they’re more than likely going to bounce back with an elite performance anyway. Bournemouth are a good side but there’s just some games where they are completely out matched and this is one of them. Sterling to score anytime is priced at 1.80, we do see him scoring as Bournemouth is his favourite opponent and given that City are likely going to score 3-4+ goals, Sterling will probably be one of those scorers. We also anticipate Manchester City to keep a clean sheet despite Bournemouth having a talented attack, City’s defensive line is very strong and shut down with stronger attacks before already this season such as Arsenal Spurs and Liverpool so it’s highly unlikely that they’ll give up too many chances here or concede. City to win 4-0 is our prediction.
