Premier League is back to action – Leicester will host Tottenham, who have failed to win last two matches. That will be very important clash for Spurs because they lost very important points in the last games.
The two sides both come into this game off the back off 1-1 draws in round 13. Leicester might be marginally the happier of the two after drawing away to West Ham on Friday night, while Tottenham will undoubtedly have been disappointed to drop points at home to now managerless West Brom.
That was the third game in four that Tottenham have failed to win and now brings into question their title aspirations, especially as two of those four were against rivals Arsenal (2-0) and Manchester United (1-0). Spurs are now fifth in the table, 13 points behind leaders Man City.
Leicester also doesn‘t show their best football right now. They have failed to win in the last three matches – West Ham (1-1), Man City (0-2) and Stoke City (2-2).
Mauricio Pochetino and his side understand that they can‘t lose more points if they really want to challenge for the title fight. Also very interesting fact that Tottenham playing better in away games – they won four of the last six PL‘s away matches while they have reached only three victories at home.
By the way, there‘s a lot of chances that today we‘ll see goals for both teams. Leicester have failed to score in the last five matches only against Man City. Tottenham left without goal against two great teams – Arsenal and Man Utd.
