EPL: Bournemouth vs Liverpool Match Betting Preview

This Saturday morning Liverpool will seek to go top of the league for at least a few hours as they visit Bournemouth. Liverpool have overcome some serious adversity these past few days in the league snatching a 96th minute winner against Everton and coming back from 1-0 down to beat Burnley 1-3 with 3 goals in the final 30 minutes. These wins were crucial for the Reds as they’ve been able to keep pace with City at the top and just trail them by 2 points entering this weekend. Bournemouth meanwhile have snapped their 4 game losing streak during their midweek fixture against Huddersfield and moved into top 7, but they have struggled against the top sides this season and will look to finally snatch some points away from one of the big boys in Liverpool. The Reds themselves can’t afford to drop points and they’ll be hoping to keep the winning run going

Team News

Bournemouth: Bournemouth have been dealt with some horrible news as Lewis Cook has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and is out for the remainder of the season and of course this game. Furthermore, Adam Smith remains out while Dan Gosling is still nursing an injury and is doubtful to feature. We’re likely going to see Andrew Surman start in midfield alongside Lerma with Cook out and Gosling likely to be out. Last week Eddie Howe went to a 5-4-1 against Man City and caused them some problems  but then reverted to a 4-4-2 against Huddersfield and his team won. Whether he’ll choose to go with 2 strikers or 3 centre backs we’ll have to find out pre kick off.

Liverpool: Klopp rotated his side against Burnley in the midweek fixture starting a completely different front 3 with Origi, Sturbridge and Shaqiri. For this game expect Salah and Firmino to at least return however Mane has been nursing an injury and will have to be assessed and if he can’t go then Shaqiri will likely to start alongside Salah and Firmino. Joe Gomez has picked up an injury against Burnley and is out 6 weeks himself so Alexander-Arnold will return to start at RB while either Matip or Lovren will start alongside van Dijk. Wijnaldum is likely to return into the starting lineup in midfield after sitting out the midweek fixture. Keita, Henderson, Fabinho and Milner are all going to be fighting for places to start alongside.

Betting Tips and Predictions

There isn’t any good value pre game bets looking at the odds. Over 2.5 goals priced at 1.60, Liverpool Win at 1.62, BTTS at 1.65. All bets that we anticipate to go through in fact. Despite Liverpool being so good defensively and be such an under-ish side, Bournemouth are one of those teams that will get you into a fun game of football and it’ll normally lead to goals. Most of their fixtures against big boys seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals but they still lost. If we were to bet here then we’d advise to wait for better odds LIVE. It’s best to hope for a 0-0 score for the first 15 minutes and all of a sudden we could get 1.8/1.9 maybe higher odds for the mentioned bets. If there’s a goal early then it’s just best to skip this fixture in terms of betting. We anticipate a 1-2 win for Liverpool and to see BTTS, over 2.5 goals but as mentioned already you got to wait LIVE for the odds to rise a little so there’s some value.
