Team News

Arsenal: Striker Alexander Lacazette has returned but will have to be assessed whether he can play after missing the game at Bournemouth last week and the travel to Ukraine on Thursday. Monreal, Mavropanos, Welbeck and Koscielny all remain out. Emery fielded a young  team against Vorskla on Thursday and will go back to his normal team against Spurs. Last week we saw a 3 at the back get implemented at Bournemouth but its questionable whether he’ll stay with it. Kolasinac should come in for Monreal while Mesut Ozil will seek to return into the starting lineup after sitting on the bench last week.

Tottenham Hotspur: Erik Lamela is Doubtful for Spurs after picking up a thigh injury against Inter midweek. Dembele, Sanchez, Wanyama and Trippier all remain out however Danny Rose is available again. Elsewhere Christian Eriksen is likely to return into the starting lineup after coming off the bench and scoring against Inter. Son Heung Min will also seek to start after putting in a great performance against Chelsea but only coming off the bench against Inter. Juan Foyth is back after being unavailable to play against Inter but it looks more likely that Jan Vertonghen will start at CB as he’s fit again. Aurier will continue to start with Trippier absent at RB.

Betting Tips and Predictions

This game definitely is a 50/50 one as both sides have a legit shot to win. It seems like these clubs tend to have quite low scoring games in the recent couple of years and that could very well be the case again. These derbies are intense and nerve wracking which normally leads to lower scoring games because neither side want to risk conceding. Under 3 goals is a good pick up for this game at 1.92. Arsenal’s games are low scoring at the Emirates this season while Spurs have a solid backline. In terms of final score we anticipate a draw here which is priced at 3.70. Neither team really look like losing this match, Arsenal are on a long unbeaten run right now while Spurs don’t lose either right now with their solid form so a 1-1 draw is quite a likely result here. In terms of goal scorers, Harry Kane at 2.06 is a good bet. He always tends to score against Arsenal, 7 in 7 Record backs that up.
