Manchester City Team Preview

Manchester City

There really isn’t much to say about Manchester City that we don’t know. The centurions, record breakers, arguably the greatest champions ever are looking to defend their crown. Man City won the league by breaking the points, goals and wins record all in one and as hard as it will be to repeat, they are tipped the heavy favourites to win it all once again. It may seem impossible for this team to get better, but they did. Not only the addition of Riyad Mahrez, but now they will have a healthy Benjamin Mendy and a healthy Vincent Kompany which will provide them more strength in depth to an already very deep squad. Man City also added a talented youngster from Australia in Daniel Arzani, who may get some minutes in the cups as he’s very talented. Man City play the most exciting football in the league, they score goals they defend well, their midfield is absolutely world class and we can once again expect City to win a lot of games and destroy a lot of teams. Sure defending the title is much harder than winning it first time, but with the squad that Manchester City have who can really stop them other than Liverpool? It’s hard to see anyone else that can really threaten City. Expect another dominant season by Man City. The strength in depth is crazy on this squad with tons of world class players and some really good youth coming in including Foden who shown some incredible flashes of brilliance already. Now whether they can break the record again it’s unlikely but they will be right up there again. City are tipped Champions and we agree by predicting them as champions as Pep should add to his trophy cabinet!
