Cilic - Albot Olympics

What we see now in Olympic tennis game’s wonderful for spectators because we have a lot of match winners who don’t win often versus good player’s. Yesterday we saw Martin Del Potro triumph versus Novak Djokovic it was unexpected end, but some people was hoping for this to happen. Today we have a different story to tell, Marin Čilič will meet Albot Radu both players are different like day and night. 

Marin Čilič – First round was very easy for him, we didn‘t believe it would go so easy for him, but as we said these courts are made for him. Why he won in first round so easy ? at first it was his service game, first and second service points winning percentage was higher than 70% (1. 80 2. 74) that is most valuable thing. Second thing he didn’t make a lot mistakes, as we know Dimitrov is good player and he often make’s his opponent to make mistakes. Cilic forehand and backhand worked perfectly and that made Dima play only defensive he couldn’t make good play for him self and made a lot of defensive mistakes. 

Radu Albot – A good player ,but in different levels, he plays very well in challenger type tournament’s but often when he goes to ATP tour he just looses after qualification rounds. Why so? A lot of time he play good defensive game on backcourt, but his game always goes same, he ain’t mixing his game. He is a smaller player – very fast but not so strong, also he have good accuracy on serve, but serve is not strong and that good for Cilic because he returns ball very good. Radu also have weaker forehand and backhand, it can be seen versus big servers like Cilic, he just cant return ball good, that a big con for today. 

In the end – Cilic Marin came here for title, he has a lot of money, a good ranking , he ain’t saving ATP points somewhere, so all he need now is GOLD MEDAL , after Djoko loose to Martin, Federer injury and all other good players missing the Olympics he have a biggest chances to win it, so we don’t see struggling him in this round because there is no need for it. Serve, backhand , forehand and return is in Cilic favour , so he will break at least to times in today match( one time in first set, and second set).
