Spanish Cup: Real Madrid vs Barcelona Betting Tips

This Sunday evening we have a clash between two historic rivals in Real Madrid who by the way are also the hosts this weekend and Barcelona in the Spanish Cup Final!

Totals (Based on ACB)

Real Madrid are around the middle in the ACB this season at covering total points at home at 54.5% (6-5). This evenings total is 165.5 and Madrid have had that twice at home earlier this season against Baskonia which was an under in a 82-76 win and Unicaja which resulted with an over in a 89-82 win. Meanwhile in Copa Del Rey Madrid are 1-1 at covering totals, they covered a 167.5 point total over against Joventut but had an under against Estudiantes where the total was 170.5 pts.

Barcelona are the 4th best team in ACB at covering total point overs at 62.5% (5-3). They haven’t had a 165.5 total, but did have a very close one to that in 166.5 points against Unicaja which resulted in an under in a 78-73 loss. In Copa Del Rey so far Barcelona are 2-0 at covering overs as they covered a 154 point total over against Valencia in a 86-79 win and 151 point total over against Tenerife in a 92-86 win. Barca have been having high scoring games so far in Copa.

Handicaps

Real Madrid are actually one of the worst Handicap covering teams in Spain at just 36.4% (4-7) which is 3rd worst in ACB. Madrid are 4 point favourites this evening which would actually be the lowest favourite handicap they’ve had if this was ACB with the previous low being 6.5 point favourites against Baskonia which they didn’t cover despite winning (82-76). In Copa Madrid are so far 1-1 at covering Handicaps as they covered a -12 Handicap against Estudiantes in the 94-63 win, but failed to cover the -13.5 against Joventut in a 93-81 win.

Barcelona are around the middle when it comes to covering Handicaps in Spain away from home this season at 50% (4-1-3). Barcelona have not been 4 point underdogs but the closest they’ve been to that was 2 point underdog tag against Baskonia which they covered in a 73-82 win, they were also 1.5 point underdogs against Unicaja failing to cover that losing 78-73 so they’re 1-1 as Underdogs. In Copa, Barcelona are 1-1-0 so far at covering Handicaps having covered a -6.5 Handicap against Valencia in a 86-79 while -6 Handicap against Tenerife was voided in a 92-86 win. Bookies been able to get it spot on with the Barcelona Handicaps in Copa Del Rey so far.
