To me, Osaka is clearly the favorite here. Maybe it won't be easy, but I doubt that even Wang can win a set against her. Osaka has one of the most powerful serves in women's tennis. She plays exceptionally well in hard court tournaments. Yesterday, she easily beat Alexandrova, who had a great performance in the tournament so far. And in a short amount of time, Osaka managed to hit 7 aces and win 94% of points after her first serve, which is rare in women's tennis. The grass surface suits Osaka's style very well. As I mentioned, she has a very strong serve and aggressive first shots. Her flat shots become even more dangerous on grass. The points are short. When Osaka's serve is solid, it's very difficult for opponents to break her.
Wang didn't play yesterday because her opponent, Svitolina, withdrew from the match. I wouldn't consider that an advantage because it can disrupt her rhythm. Wang can play on grass and has a decent serve and is also aggressive, but the way Osaka has been playing this week, I doubt if Wang can even win a set.
