Lulu Sun caused a huge surprise by reaching the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. This just proves that she knows how to play on grass and her ranking does not reflect her ability on this surface. Her game is well-suited for grass. A left-handed, aggressive shot after the first serve, flat shots, and a low trajectory of the ball, which all work well on a grass court. Klimovicova's strengths are not as effective on grass. She prefers to play with a rhythm on the backline. Longer rallies, higher bounces of the ball, and slower pace are her preferred style. However, on grass, where the ball slides, her main weapons become less dangerous. I mentioned that Sun being left-handed is a huge advantage, especially on grass. Because left-handed players often serve to the backhand side, pulling the opponent off the court and finishing points with a forehand. But on grass, this works even better, as the ball bounces low after a serve. Klimovicova has her chances with players who allow her to lengthen rallies, but Sun does the opposite: shortening points, putting pressure on returns, and looking for winners. This is not favorable for Klimovicova. Sun is clearly the favorite here. The only thing that concerns me is her unforced errors. Sometimes she makes too many of them. But if she can control that at least to a moderate level, she should confidently defeat her opponent.
