I see very little chance for Djokovic to fight for the third spot here. Although the Serbian is experienced, he can't keep up with the young players who dominate in ATP right now. Since this is not an ATP title, I do not expect him to have the same motivation as he usually does. Fritz is playing solid and consistent tennis and has been performing well this season, so I believe he should be celebrating victory as an American.
