Both teams played a draw against South Korea and defeated Taiwan, although Japan won 4-0 and China won 4-2, therefore if Japan were to tie, they would be ahead. However, this may not be enough to secure the title as South Korea could surpass them by defeating the underdog Taiwan 4-5, which is very possible as Taiwan's defense is weak. In short, both teams need a strong performance in these matches to guarantee the title. Japan is playing with their B team, so anything could happen, although they are still the favorites. The team plays their usual attacking football, creating many chances, while China's attack also looks decent, but their defense and goalkeeper seem weak. From a general perspective, the focus should be on the attack and converting opportunities as there will be plenty, they just need to capitalize on them. I believe both teams are capable of doing that at least three times.
