Ruud is in a very good shape and easily defeated Ramos, showing how confidently he plays as a Norwegian. Portugal is a weak opponent, out of form and barely won against Frenchman Jacquet in a 5-set match, in which he did not fully recover. Ruud looks very good and even defeated Borges on hard court last year, so we can expect more from him in this match.
