I believe everyone will agree that the masterful and better tennis player here is Rublev, but his character and poor form do not allow for a strong trust in him. Although it has never been easy, Canada is a favorable player for Rublev, as shown by his 7 out of 8 wins against him. Both of these players have not had a successful season on clay, but the Russian is better on this surface, while Canada is one of the least favorable surfaces. Therefore, even though he may not have defeated better players, I believe that once Rublev regains his self-confidence, he will perform well and rightfully be the favorite.
