Barcelona has added talent in their attack, but far from it in their defense. They are a Spanish team, playing in a Spanish style. They struggled against Žalgiris and the new teams in the league, but looking at their roster, there is certainly potential in the team. Alba, as usual, is not a team seeking big results, it seems they are just here to "participate" and their results reflect that. Their lineup usually consists of a couple of foreign players and a German "core". However, Alba players often use this as a stepping stone to bigger leagues, so they don't worry too much about the statistics and just play easy basketball. It seems this season will be no different. This is evident in both their BBL games and their first Euroleague game against Panathinaikos. Barcelona should start off strong at home against Perudo and secure a win.
