Shapavalov, the #4 seed and currently the highest ranked player in the tournament, is my favorite going into this tournament. Even 2.55 odds are given for the victory in the tournament, which is really not bad. Shapavalov faces Brooksby in the semi-finals, with either Nishioka or Kovacevic in the final, so the Canadian is my clear favorite for the tournament. I think the semi-final will be more difficult than the final, but Shapavalov, who is in good shape and gaining momentum, is playing great tennis, and he always does well on outdoor hard courts. Shapavalov also looked good at the US Open, but only went down in 5 sets to Rublev. Shapavalov just shines in these conditions and I think he will take the championship here
