Sevastova A - Strycova B

Strycova has lost just once in her last nine outings, this fine run includes a title win at Linz which was only the second WTA title of her career. The 31-year-old Czech played in Zhuhai last year where she lost to Kvitova in her first match before winning in straight sets against Vinci. It was not enough as Kvitova managed to qualify from the group after winning both of her matches.

The 27-year-old Latvian has returned to winning ways after going through a rough patch since losing to Stephens in the US Open QFs where she lost three consecutive matches against Makarova, Sharapova and Begu.

Same thing like yesterday, they both can compete at good level
