Ostapenko is the youngest player to qualify for the WTA Finals since Wozniacki in 2010 (Semi-Finals). Also, Ostapenko is the one of the three-players that are making their WTA Finals debut in 2017 (Garcia and Svitolina are the other two). And as i like to say, young players are most valuable in this kind of event, because nobody expects them to win. Surface is extremly slow for hard and that is very good for Latvian.
