CL 3 round of qualification, Bulgarian champions receive Kazakhstani team Kairat Almaty. I am taking Levski to win because they started this season very well, beating Bosnian team Borac Banja Luka 5-1 overall (4-0 at home) and then defeating Romanian champions Univ Cariova 1-0 at home (3-2 overall series win). They have also won both of their home games in the local league, adding to their good form. I believe the home advantage will have a big impact, as Kairat, even though they unexpectedly made it to the CL qualification last year, have lost all three of their away games, including defeats against Finnish team KuPs and Slovakian team Slovan Bratislava. This year, in the qualification round, they already lost to Cypriot team Omonia away after coming back from a deficit at home. I think Levski is a better quality team and will also benefit from the home advantage, especially considering that in official matches in 2026, they have won 12 out of 13 games in front of their fans.
