Another season where Lietkabelis did not have a good regular season, but now has a medal in their hands and leaves a solid impression in the playoffs. They defeated Siauliai 2-0 and put up a good fight against Zalgiris despite a 0-3 series result. In the end, Kaunas was able to hold on until the very end. Year after year, Kabelis shows that they know how to step up in important battles and because of that, I have more faith in them in this series compared to Neptunas, who struggled towards the end of the season and missed their chance in the semi-finals against Juventus, which proves that Neptunas is easily vulnerable. To add to this, Kabelis easily won against the top three teams, which makes them a more reliable team and should take the bronze medal once again.
