Hello.
NBA. Round 2 of the playoffs. Pistons against Cavs. We're moving with Cavs Peru.
Although Detroit won the first game, it wasn't as easy as it seems from the result. They were leading for most of the game, but in the last 5 minutes of the game, the score became tied. And this happened with really bad performances from Harden (which he always has at least once in a series). Harden only made 6 shots, and had 7 turnovers, which is not a good game (although he did gather 22 points). He also shot terribly from 3 points - 1/7, and his defense didn't look very solid. He missed quite a few easy points. I think Robinson's percentages will also drop (he made 5/8 3PT in the first match). He's a really good sniper, but he can be stopped if the other team really wants to prove something. I also expect Mobley to have better performances, although he did turn the game around at certain moments. Overall, I think the CAVS have a deeper and more balanced bench, and the x-factor there is over. Pistons are more of a defensive team and I don't believe they will have two high-scoring games in a row, especially if their percentages drop (which should happen when you only have one reliable shooter in the team - Robinson). If Mobley and Allen can defend well under the basket, I believe the series will be tight, and we already saw with Magic that Pistons like to throw away games in the beginning of a series. All in all, I think the Cavs are a more talented team and with this odds it's worth to try them, since the home factor in NBA playoffs doesn't make a big difference (we can see this from all the playoffs games). Good luck.
