Both Slovenian Ghana and both playing well on clay courts. Veronika Erjavec, 28 years old, is a talented player on this surface, even reaching the semifinals of Roland Garros in 2022, but she has been plagued by various injuries since around 2023. She may still be able to compete in Challenger or ITF matches until the semifinals or finals, but she lacks strength in the final stages. With Zidansek dropping to the 148th position on the WTA rankings.
On the other hand, Erjavec's results this season are not impressive, but she is capable of playing at lower levels on clay courts.
The essential aspect here is that Zidansek has won the last three matches in three sets, and I don't think she will lose much strength.
