Gernika entered the marathon of matches because they earned it themselves. At the beginning of the season, they refused to play in the Eurocup with the Israel team. The matches were postponed, but Fiba forced them through penalties and they had to play them after the national team break. This resulted in them playing their 5th match in 11 days today. And although I may sometimes see the effects of fatigue, in this case Gernika played all those matches with a rotation of only 7 players (Krnjic being the 8th, but she plays in a very episodic manner) and in the last match against Chad La Seu, it was already clear at the end of the game that their shots were very poor and unprepared. The truth is, there is a possibility that some of the injured players will be able to play, but Polleros seems to be sick and it is uncertain if she trained, so there is no shortage of problems there.
Estepona had a difficult stretch as they played against Avenida, Zaragoza, and Valencia. They lost all of these matches, but with decent margins of -14, -5, and -8. So they might finally return to their Peru period at home.
