Pick: +8 Milwaukee Bucks @-125 7/10
Hello.
NBA. Cavs against Bucks. We're moving with an 8 point Bucks handicap.
The Cavs don't look as good as Peru. Their defense is sloppy and they are missing shots where they shouldn't. Maybe when Garland returns, everything will change, because right now they are playing without their true first point guard. Even against Peru, they don't always manage to beat their opponents. Looking at their recent games, they only won by 8 points against a struggling Memphis team. They also struggled against the Heat and Bulls. Overall, the team has maintained a similar pattern from last season and is still one of the better East teams, but this year they seem to be in worse form than Peru (at least at the start of the season).
The Bucks have surprisingly started the season well (at least surprisingly for me) and with a record of 8-6, they are currently ranked 7th in the West. After their loss to the Lakers, I believe they will want to make a comeback. I think the handicap was caused by Giannis being listed as questionable due to injuries, but he often still plays. Now it seems more likely that he will have a strong performance in the game. For those who believe in magic numbers or something similar, the Bucks have won every other game in their last 10, with the exception of one loss 😁). But on a serious note, the team still looks good even after their starting point guard Porter's injury, and Turner is slowly adapting to his role in the Milwaukee team, and Giannis is still unstoppable.
The two teams have already met once this season and the Cavs celebrated a 5 point win over the Bucks. I don't think it will be any easier for the Cavs this time around, and maybe even the Bucks can get their revenge. Winning against the same NBA team twice in a row is not easy, especially when they are of similar strength. I believe the motivation will also be on the Bucks' side. Good luck.
