Although Gernika lost without El Salvador, they were reinforced with Krnjic and slightly filled the gap under the basket. Despite all the injuries, the team plays quite steadily and well. They won everything at home (Estudiantes, Zaragoza, Joventut), but lost everything on the road in close matches (Araski -3, Ensino -2).
Jairis plays very inconsistently. He still can't find his game from last season. Cherry is out due to injury, and Walker doesn't seem to fit with Jairis' style. She is a pure point guard, but when she scores only 7 points and has an efficiency rating of 4.8, she is not very effective.
