Bucharest 9 ITF, clay tournament. Tagger Lilli, a 17-year-old talent from Austria. She has a lot of power in both her serves and returns for her age, plus excellent results on clay this year, with a very high level of stability that is rare for someone older. This year, she has already defeated many strong ITF-level players such as In-Albon Y., Bolsova, Boisson, Korpatsch T., Grabher, Kostovic, Palicova, and almost all of them by a score of 2:0 😁
On the other side, there is Brockmann Tessa Johanna, a 21-year-old from Germany, with 4 ITF titles on clay this year. It seems impressive, but she chooses to play low-level tournaments, as the only notable players she has defeated are Bara and Tubello, and practically everyone. I recently had the chance to watch her play in her home country against Oktiabreva, who was in the final at the time. Although Oktiabreva played poorly, with many double faults in the second set, she still couldn't do anything against strong opponents, especially with her own weak serve. Tagger's game is similar to Oktiabreva's, but much more stable.
