Hello.
Eurobasket Quarterfinals. Finland vs. Georgia. We're betting with the Georgian team with a plus-six handicap. Both teams have caused big upsets in the quarterfinals. Finland beat Serbia, while Georgia beat France. From friendly matches, Georgia seemed quite sluggish, but in the championship, they're showing a completely different performance. Spain, who defeated France in the group stage, now faces them in the quarterfinals, and even if there were some not-so-good moments, they still have a good chance against Italy. They seem underrated to me here. Overall, Georgia appears to be a very unfavorable team for Markkanen. They have quite mobile and physical tall players (Toko and Bitadze), who I believe won't let him perform well. I'm still waiting for a monstrous performance from Mamukelashvili, as he is capable of it, especially in such matches. Baldwin also seems to have recovered during the tournament. He looked fantastic against France.
I would say Finland is a better three-point shooting team, but it also depends on the day. Their young star Jesus is also overhyped, and I don't think he will shine against the strong uncles from Georgia. Overall, I think stopping Finland's three-point shots and playing tough defense could give Georgia a chance. Another big plus for Georgia is their coach. Dzikic is definitely one of the best coaches in this championship, and I believe he will come up with a strategy to stop both the Finnish prodigy and their three-point shots. And finally, Finland are considered favorites here, which could put pressure on them and make them play more like underdogs, giving Georgia a chance to upset them. Let's watch and see if it will happen.
I see a lot of value in betting on Georgia with the handicap, which I am considering doing myself, but for now, I will play it safer with a six-point handicap. Good luck.
